It's Takes a Man and a Woman (2013)
The film follows the life of Miggy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Laida (Sarah Geronimo) after their break-up which occurred after the events in the second film. Miggy, is now in a relationship with Belle (Isabelle Daza) while Laida is now a fiercer woman after living in the United States. They try to co-exist in the same company while Laida tries to oppose Miggy's business decisions through a series of events which made them realize the real definition of true love.

Review: The Bride and the Lover
The story of the movie is not unique it echoes the string of infidelity film that topped the box office in the last months. The film looks like a local TV series, its visuals completely flat and lifeless.
Lovi Poe gives the best performance among the three lead stars, however she settles for stupid, making her dramatic scenes awkward and not convincing.
Jennylyn Mercado’s performance is balanced. She gets her character’s innocence, but fails to grasp the more complicated parts.
Paulo Avelino, being the male in this adultery formula has nothing much to do in this film. His character should have been more defined. It’s understandable that the lead cast aren’t able to do much with their characters.
What’s good about the The Bride and the Lover is how it uses camp elements to intensify the movie goer’s interest.
The movie tries to have it both ways, and it ends up with nothing. For me, It wasn’t a really good movie, but despite all these flaws, The Bride and the Lover is still an entertaining movie worth watching for me.

Review: “My Lady Boss”
The chemistry of the two lead stars, Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez is undeniable. Marian’s character is free-spirited while Richard’s role is a little uptight. The contrast created magic and spelled box-office success.
Marian is in her goofy charm, remains fun to watch, good comic delivery shine throughout the movie. Her dramatic scene is also commendable.
There are many kilig scenes as well as laugh out loud scenes.
As Kontrabida role, Rocco Nacino is very good and highly commendable while other supporting stars like Tom Rodriguez, Ronaldo Valdez, Ruru Madrid, Dion Ignacio, Benjie Paras and Betong have their moment in the film.
Technical aspects of the film like the production design and the special effects used in the sky diving scene are exceptional.
The movie isn’t flawless but as a whole, it’s very funny and entertaining, from beginning to end.

“Juan de la Cruz” Movie, Coco Martin’s Next Project
Kapamilya actor revealed that right now the Juan de la Cruz movie script is being finalized as well as the filming schedules or the possible day of showing. There will be meetings for the production as Coco Martin looks forward to make a comeback on the big screen.
According to the 31-year-old actor, he will rest for one week after the finale of Juan de la Cruz. The Juan de la Cruz actor Coco Martin also shared to the media that he is looking forward for a movie collaboration with Kris Aquino, who is dubbed as “Queen of Horror,” for a horror movie.

Malous Santos revealed that Star Cinema will be doing a remake of the 1996 film topbilled by then teen stars Jason Salcedo, Junell Hernando and Marc Solis. The said movie, directed by Peque Gallaga and Lore Reyes, is a big success at the 1996 Metro Manila Film festival winning all of the 7 nominations including Best Film.
Malou Santos said that the Magic Temple movie remake topbilled by Kathryn and Daniel will be done in partnership with Reality Entertainment and will boast of new special effects. Star Cinema is also planning to make a movie franchise out of Magic Temple, the script of which is already on its first draft.
“We’re thinking of doing a franchise of Magic Temple na limang pelikula. ‘Pag may may Magic Temple, magkakaroon ng Magic City, etc. So five stories na tuloy-tuloy,” said Santos.
Magic Temple then had a sequel, Magic Kingdom in 1997 courtesy of Viva Films and still directed by the tandem of Gallaga and Reyes. The film still starred Salcedo, Hernando but Solis was replaced by Janus del Prado. It was also the film debut of now multimedia princess Anne Curtis.
Are you excited for the Magic Temple remake starring Kathryn and Daniel. Well, the movie will be released most probably late 2014 (maybe another MMFF entry).
Movie trailer: Call Center Girl starring Pokwang
Comedienne Pokwang is set to make a comedic comeback via Star Cinema’s upcoming movie “Call Center Girl.”
In Friday’s press release, ABS-CBN’s film production outfit described “Call Center Girl” as “a hilarious, smart, and laugh-a-minute movie.”
The story is “centered on Teresa (Pokwang) who is in a desperate race against time to unite her family and win back the affections of her estranged daughter Regina (Jessy Mendiola). By some twist of fate, Teresa (who worked in a cruise ship for 13 years) lands a job in a call center where her daughter Regina is employed thus providing her with the perfect opportunity to rekindle her broken relationship with her daughter. In the process, Teresa encounters a diverse bunch of people from different walks of life. She then gradually appreciates the concept of extended families and ultimately, Teresa and Regina learns the true value of family as both discover their individual purposes in life,” Star Cinema stated.
The movie is directed by Don Cuaresma. It also stars Enchong Dee, Chokoleit, K Brosas, John “Sweet” Lapus, Dianne Medina, Alex Castro, Ejay Falcon, and Aaron Villaflor.
“Call Center Girl” will be shown in cinemas across the country beginning November 27, Star Cinema added.

The bestselling book She’s Dating the Gangster made its debut in media as an online book published in Wattpad. Afterwards, Summit Books published it last March 2013. The book, which is written by Bianca Bernardino, consistently figured in the bestselling charts. The popularity of the work urged Star Cinema to buy the rights for a movie remake.
In a Candy Mag interview, the author said that she’s seeing Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo bringing her characters to life if ever the work will be adapted into a movie. She cited Daniel’s “bad boy aura” and Kathryn’s vibe similar to the girl protagonist as the reason why they perfectly fit the roles.
She’s Dating the Gangster is the story of Athena Dizon who falls in love with her fake boyfriend Kenji de los Reyes, a gangster and a campus heartthrob.
