Independent Film Actress, Playboy Cover Girl Mercedes Cabral | Photos

Who’s she; you may ask. Well, you probably have been watching too much of the mestiza-biased mainstream media, here’s what you’re missing.
Our dear Mercedes, born August 10, 1987, was cast in three entries to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
In 2009, she was in Filipino director Brillante Mendoza’s “Kinatay” and “Thirst” by Korean film maker Chan-Wook Park. A year before that, she starred in “Serbis”, where she walked the red carpet and was voted by an online poll to be its “Most Glamorous Woman”, with her Asian exotic features beating Hollywood’s Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman and Salma Hayek among others.
You might think that the poll was rigged. Here are photos to dispel your doubts (including one where she also poses with a crocodile?! Haha Such nerves. So don't go play "truth or dare" with her).

Independent film actress Mercedes Cabral is also the only celebrity to pose twice on the covers of Playboy Philippines, in December 2008 and November-December 2010 issues. But we won’t pose her nude or porn photos here so as to maintain the decency of this blog.
She garnered a nomination at the Gawad Urian in 2011 for her role in “Gayuma”. Mercedes Cabral was also nominated for “Best Peformance by an Actress in a Leading Role - Musical or Comedy” at 9th Golden Screen Awards 2012.
For three years, this Playboy cover girl has landed on FHM Philippines’ 100 Sexiest Women poll; debuting at rank 100 in 2011 as a new entry then at rank #77 and #88 in 2012 and 2013, consecutively.
